← Work Product In build

TimeBill

Multi-client time tracking that understands how independent operators actually split their week. Built because every existing option assumed a model of work that was not ours.

Context

Why it exists

Every time-tracking tool assumes one employer and a tidy 9-to-5. Reality for most independent operators is messier: multiple clients, context-switched days, some work billable and some not, invoicing on a rhythm that fits the client, not the tool. TimeBill starts from that reality rather than fighting it.

Shipping

What it ships today

  • Multi-client time entries that split cleanly at invoicing time.
  • Integration-first: pulls from Toggl, pushes to Xero, reconciles against calendars.
Roadmap

What's next

Opening a closed beta to other independents. Publishing the data model so others can build against it.

Alignment

Principles this carries

— 05

Transparency

Hidden harms break every other principle. If we cannot say plainly what we built and why, we have not thought clearly enough. We publish the reasoning, not just the outcome.

— 03

Commons over commodification

Knowledge that shapes how life unfolds should belong to life — not to whichever entity reached a market first. We default to the commons, and we license like we mean it.
